Uttarakhand Waqf Board and ICICI Foundation
Uttarakhand Waqf Board has taken an important step towards providing employment to the youth with the help of ICICI Foundation. Uttarakhand Waqf Board has provided a batch of 100 youth to ICICI Foundation, the Foundation will provide a training of 72 working days to the said youth in which the youth will be trained in selling skills and office administration. The Foundation will provide employment in various institutions to the youth who successfully receive the training. On 23.11.2023, the training program was inaugurated at the Foundation’s Employment Office, Dehradun, in which about 100 youth / trainees and Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Mr. Shadab Shams, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Syed Shiraz Usman, Board Member Mrs. Kahkashan Naseem IFS, ICICI were present. Foundation Dehradun Director Mr. Amit Sinha etc. were present. Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Mr. Shadab Shams said that Uttarakhand Waqf Board has tied up with ICICI Foundation to provide employment to unemployed youth. Foundation will provide 72 days of vocational training to the youth, there will be 100% job guarantee, all trained youth will be provided jobs. After the training, efforts will be made to provide certificates and appointment letters from the hands of Chief Minister Mr. Pushkar Singh Dhami. Right now this program has been started from Dehradun, soon such training will start in Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital as well. Honorable Chairman sahab told the students that you have got an opportunity, this is an opportunity to change your life.
